Treatment During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Our treatment model is well-suited to prevent our clients from being exposed to COVID-19. When the novel coronavirus began impacting the lives of millions of Americans, 1 Method was already offering integrative, 1-on-1 care to only six people at a time. Coupled with private suites, onsite medical care and a culture of health and wellness, it was a seamless pivot for us to exceed the CDC’s suggestions for reducing your risks from SARS-CoV-2. We were prepared because we plan ahead.

Long before the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) became an unfortunate part of our collective everyday life and national reality, 1 Method was already ahead of other programs when it came to treating people for dual diagnosis, substance misuse and mental illness. While other treatment programs happily herded crowds of people in and out of group therapy, we designed and committed ourselves to a program that focuses on 1-on-1 treatment – not because it’s cost-effective for us, but because we have successfully proven time and again that an individualized program works for you.

At 1 Method, we have always thought big and practiced small. We have always put the lives, health, safety, and well-being of our clients ahead of everything else because we know it’s the right thing to do. For almost 20 years, we have employed groundbreaking therapies in a safe, clean, intimate setting (with no more than 6 clients per home) so that we can provide the individualized treatment and attention that results in success stories. We care about you enough to want to save your life and let you go back out into the world to be able to thrive and live yours.

While other treatment centers are now finding themselves in the unenviable position of having to play catch-up to try to adapt to the new landscape of life in the time of COVID-19, 1 Method is and has always been at the forefront when it comes to maintaining strict quality control of hygiene and cleanliness because our facilities and baseline of services already exceeded the health and safety standards of most treatment centers. We’re not scrambling to get up to date or figure out how to put best sanitary health practices and life-saving measures in place, because we were ahead of that curve long before the clarion call for us all to flatten it arrived. We are now going over, above and beyond CDC guidelines to stay ahead of things while others are still lagging behind.

We have always been working to save lives.

Now, more than ever, it is important to realize that treatment can save your life. 1 Method remains open and committed to serving clients who need our help every day. Addiction does not take a back seat to a viral outbreak. Neither does mental illness. If anything, they can be accelerated. The first step is to seek help and find a treatment program that is as committed to helping you recover as it is capable of protecting you from exposure to COVID-19. 1 Method is here for you.

Our 1-on-1 focus and individually tailored programs cater to small groups (no more than six residents per house) that ensure safe social distancing is easy to maintain. Our homes are well-appointed, yes. More importantly, they are superbly equipped to fight contagion risk. Our treatment model is well suited to prevent our clients from being exposed to COVID-19.

Along with constant temperature monitoring for clients and staff, all of our facilities are cleaned to hospital-grade and well stocked with soap, industrial-strength disinfectant, and hand-sanitizers. There is no shortage of food or toilet paper. While what we treat is not contagious, our approach to living a healthy, substance-free life can be. We are proud of our achievements and have earned numerous accolades for our personalized approach to treating individual problems in individual ways, having been named one of the finest treatment centers in the nation.
