Dr. Jonathan Reitman

Jonathan Reitman, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He received his bachelor of arts from Brown University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, going on to receive his medical degree from University of California San Francisco, where he was awarded a Dean’s research fellowship. His residency training was performed at University of California Los Angeles Medical Center.

Dr. Reitman has worked extensively in the field of addiction medicine for almost 20 years. In 2007 he became the medical director of a hospital-based inpatient detoxification unit, where he has treated over three thousand patients. He is a licensed buprenorphine provider, and has treated 1500 + opioid-dependent individuals with MAT protocols and also founded a specific support group for individuals with benzodiazepine dependence.
