Laura Varney

Director of Health and Fitness

Laura Varney is the Director of Health and Fitness at 1 Method Center and has worked as a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and registered yoga teacher in Los Angeles for more than five years. 

Laura specializes in strength and functional training, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and power vinyasa yoga. She recently combined her knowledge in fitness, yoga and nutrition to create a 12 Week Guide to Wellness that includes 12 weeks of strength training, metabolic conditioning, cardio, yoga, nutrition, recipes and meditation.

Laura regularly attends fitness workshops and seminars such as battle rope, functional movement and kettlebell trainings to stay knowledgeable and up to date with new training protocol. 

Upon intake, Laura works directly with the client to understand their exercise and nutrition history and become familiar with health and fitness goals. Throughout treatment, she leads wellness based experiential and discussion groups, outlines training programs for clients and works directly with our in house chef to make sure everyone’s nutritional needs are met.
