Shelby Bublitz

Shelby Bublitz, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate about bridging the gap between knowledge and application when it comes to nutrition. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles as Summa Cum Laude of her class with a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science. Her Master’s project was comprised of a research paper and lecture material describing why dieting leads to weight gain and can be detrimental to health. Shelby brings this knowledge to our clients utilizing a non-diet approach to weight concerns. Her favorite part of being a dietitian is seeing clients having that “aha moment” where knowledge meets personal understanding.

Shelby earned a Bachelors from California State University, Channel Islands where her focus was teaching and learning. She understands the different types of learning styles and enjoys the challenge of making nutrition, which can be complicated and sometimes elusive, into something easy to understand as well as being applicable. Shelby provides counseling on eating disorders, diabetes management, bariatric surgery, plant based diets, and heart health.

Shelby finds freedom in helping others learn and apply healthful behaviors that promote a positive relationship with food and improve well-being. Since food is utilized to show love, to celebrate, to nourish ourselves, and part of every community event and holiday, mending this relationship allows us to best take care ourselves and return to our communities. This is Shelby’s overarching goal as a Dietitian Nutritionist.

Shelby enjoys living a balanced life and finds inspiration in the mountains and on the water where she spends most of her free time.
